Choi Sang-mok, Acting President and Deputy Prime Minister as well as Minister of Strategy and Finance, reviewed current issues in defense and defense industry.

According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance on the 7th, Acting President Choi received reports on defense and defense industry issues from Kim Seon-ho, Acting Minister of National Defense, Seok Jong-geon, Administrator of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, Jeong In-gyo, Director General for Trade Negotiations, and Kim Hee-sang, Economic Diplomacy Coordinator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Government Complex Seoul in the afternoon.

Acting President Choi emphasized the importance of trust and communication between countries in global security cooperation, stating, "Please convey that security cooperation with Korea will proceed normally as usual." He stressed the need to concentrate capabilities in the defense industry sector where government-private strategic cooperation models can operate.

Acting President Choi said, "In addition to domestic and international uncertainties, we are facing global alliances and rivalries in the fields of economy, industry, diplomacy, and security," and urged, "Please lead the fields of diplomacy, security, and defense as stably as possible with one heart and one mind."
