Baeksamjong Hamyang Bugunsu Inspects Snow Removal at Road Ice-Prone Sections

Baek Sam-jong, Deputy Governor of Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, visited major mountain roads and sections vulnerable to freezing to inspect overall winter snow removal operations, including automatic brine spraying devices.

On the 6th, Deputy Governor Baek closely examined the status of snow removal material procurement, management of hazardous sections, and response plans to minimize road traffic inconvenience caused by winter snowfall.

Baek Sam-jong, Hamyang Bugun County Governor, is inspecting the snow removal site at a road section vulnerable to freezing.

Hamyang-gun plans to implement proactive measures for rapid and systematic snow removal during heavy snowfall, mobilizing all equipment and personnel.

To this end, various equipment such as 7 automatic brine spraying devices, 8 snow removal dump trucks, 3 excavators, and 81 tractor-attached snow plows are being utilized to carry out winter snow removal operations.

Deputy Governor Baek stated, “As continuous snowfall is forecasted during the winter season, we will strengthen patrol activities regularly to prevent winter safety accidents and ensure smooth vehicle traffic.”
