BNK Busan Bank Selected Consecutively Twice as Ministry of Education's 'Certified Institution for Educational Donation Career Experience'

Acquisition of Certification Marks Over Three Years Until 2027

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) has been reselected as a ‘2024 Second Half Education Donation Career Experience Certified Institution,’ earning the certification mark for three years until 2027.

The Education Donation Career Experience Certification System, hosted by the Ministry of Education, certifies institutions that provide high-quality career experience programs in local communities by evaluating factors such as the nature of the experience site, environment and safety, and program excellence.

Busan Bank has been consistently conducting financial education for students by visiting elementary, middle, and high schools, and since 2019, it has also been operating the financial career experience program ‘Kkumdamgi’ for high school students in the Busan area.

Additionally, it offers various educational programs including financial education for vulnerable groups, BIFC financial lectures, and operation of the Financial History Museum.

Moon Jeong-won, Chief Consumer Protection Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, said, “Encouraged by being selected as an Education Donation Career Experience Certified Institution, we will strive to provide more educational opportunities,” adding, “We plan to expand various programs so that local youth can grow into talents for the future society.”

The Education Donation Career Experience Certified Institutions can be identified by the certification mark on the career experience network website ‘Kkumgil,’ and schools wishing to participate in the certified institutions’ career experiences can apply through ‘Kkumgil.’
