Boramsangjo to Launch Specialized Funeral Services for Dining and Catering Industries

Baeknyeonga FNC and Aramark Sign MOU

Boramsangjo introduces specialized funeral services targeting the dining and catering industries.


Boram Group’s funeral affiliate, Boramsangjo Life, announced on the 7th that it recently signed a business partnership agreement (MOU) with Baeknyeonga FNC and Aramark. The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Ki-tae, CEO of Boramsangjo Life, Lee Ki-young, Chairman of Baeknyeonga FNC, Kim Sung-eun, CEO of Aramark, and other officials.

Through this agreement, Boramsangjo plans to enhance welfare levels by providing the ‘Boram550’ service to approximately 3,000 employees of Baeknyeonga and Aramark. Baeknyeonga will explore cooperation plans based on its extensive experience and network in the dining industry, while Aramark will leverage its expertise in global food and beverage services to discuss various collaborative possibilities among the three parties to maximize synergy.


‘Boram550’ includes comprehensive services centered on premium funerals, such as items for the deceased, ceremonial supplies, professional funeral personnel, and funeral limousine support. It also offers digital additional services like cyber memorial halls and memorial albums, and supports conversion options to cruise, overseas travel, weddings, matchmaking, and pet funeral services, making it highly versatile.


Baeknyeonga operates the jjambbong specialty dining brand ‘Baeknyeon Gyodong Jjambbong’ and is a Chinese cuisine franchise company with over 100 franchise stores, including highway rest areas and department store outlets. Recently, it has been expanding its business area through its subsidiary, Kukbo Industry, a comprehensive waste management company.


Aramark is a global leading company providing group catering and food and beverage services in 15 countries including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, operating hospital, school, and industrial employee cafeterias, buffets, cafeterias, and lunchbox services. Domestically, it is especially establishing its position by specializing in food and beverage services for funeral halls.
