NanoEntek is showing strong performance. The news that L'Or?al Group, the world's largest cosmetics company, unveiled the hardware device 'L'Or?al Cell BioPrint' at 'CES 2025', which uses advanced proteomics to study the impact of human protein composition on skin aging and provides personalized skin analysis in just 5 minutes, appears to be influencing the stock price.
The L'Or?al Cell BioPrint was developed through an exclusive partnership between L'Or?al's longevity science, focused on revealing the mechanisms of skin aging, and the Korean startup NanoEntek.
L'Or?al Group's Research & Innovation (R&I) team, based on decades of accumulated knowledge and innovation, applied advanced science to skin intelligence to identify unique biomarkers within the skin that indicate healthy skin and key elements of longevity. Utilizing NanoEntek's microfluidic lab-on-a-chip technology, the L'Or?al Cell BioPrint can detect the presence of L'Or?al's protein biomarkers within 5 minutes.
As of 9:24 AM on the 7th, NanoEntek is trading at 4,275 KRW, up 18.75% from the previous day.
The L'Or?al Cell BioPrint provides personalized skin analysis and solutions in various ways within just a few minutes, including ▲calculating the biological age of the skin and offering personalized advice on how to slow aging ▲predicting responsiveness to specific active ingredients such as retinol ▲forecasting potential beauty-related concerns.
The growth of the global skincare market, expected to reach approximately 183 trillion KRW (125 billion USD) this year, is driven by consumers seeking more information about their skin and more effective products, increasingly aiming for hyper-personalization.
Barbara Lavernos, Senior Vice President of Research, Innovation, and Technology at L'Or?al Group, said, "L'Or?al Group always combines cutting-edge discoveries with long-standing beauty expertise to move toward the future of beauty. Cell BioPrint provides the capability to discover deep insights into the skin through specific biomarkers and proactively address skin beauty and longevity."
The L'Or?al Cell BioPrint is scheduled for pilot operation later this year in Asia alongside L'Or?al brands.
