No Separate Quota, Hiring e-Commerce and B2B Sales Talent
Beauty tech company APR announced on the 7th that it will begin recruiting overseas talent.
This year, APR is focusing its recruitment on the global market, including the e-commerce sector and B2B. Both entry-level interns and experienced professionals are eligible. Specifically, positions in ▲marketing ▲MD ▲e-commerce channel operations ▲overseas B2B sales will be selected.
APR plans to recruit talent primarily in overseas regions such as the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, where it showed strong performance last year. The main market is Japan. Recruitment for online marketing and MD talent with communication skills and an understanding of the local beauty market and trends in Japan is currently underway until the 12th. APR grew 78.6% year-over-year in Japan in the third quarter of last year. According to global market research firm Statista, Japan's e-commerce market size is approximately $169 billion (about 249 trillion KRW) as of 2024.
APR is pursuing global talent acquisition because interest in K-Beauty is expected to continue this year. Despite significant global economic uncertainties, the company believes that proactive talent acquisition and development through employment expansion are necessary to secure future growth engines as overseas business is expected to continue expanding.
An APR representative stated, “Through this recruitment, we aim not only to continue expanding overseas business but also to fulfill our social responsibility of expanding employment and nurturing talent during difficult times. We do not have a fixed number of positions for recruitment, as this is about securing talent rather than competition among applicants, so we hope for many applicants' interest.”
Meanwhile, the recruitment process will proceed in the order of document screening, organizational fit test, and interviews, with additional screening possibly added depending on the job or career details. Detailed information can be found on the APR recruitment website.
