For example, in the case of livestock, only first-grade or higher Hanwoo raised in excellent production areas verified for safety through DNA genetic and antibody residue tests are carefully selected and sold as gift sets. The newly introduced Hwanggogae Farm Animal Welfare Hanwoo (1.6kg, 450,000 KRW) set for this Lunar New Year was exclusively planned with 'Hwanggogae Farm,' which was certified as a 'Clean Farm' by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and was the first Hanwoo animal welfare livestock farm selected in Gangwon Province.

Also, excellent fresh produce gift sets grown in Lotte Department Store designated production areas such as Taebaek Cheonsangae Snowflake Apples (9 pieces, 170,000 KRW) and Jeju Honey Heobeok Hallabong (9 pieces, 130,000 KRW), as well as a barley dried yellow corvina and Jeju green tea set (300,000 KRW) made in cooperation with the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, featuring naturally dried barley yellow corvina paired with Jeju green tea, are being offered exclusively in the industry.

The representative product is the Hanwoo Gourmet Meat Sampler (195,000 KRW), which includes eight special cuts produced in very small quantities from 1+ grade Hanwoo, each portioned at 70g. Also, individually packaged Yeonggwang yellow corvina (160,000?210,000 KRW) is offered in preferred sizes for easy storage and cooking at home.

In addition, a variety of unique gifts reflecting diverse tastes, from desserts to coffee and tea, are being showcased. During the main sales period, promotions offering up to 5?10% of the purchase amount in Lotte gift certificates will be held depending on the product. Shinsegae Department Store Targets Holiday and New Year Gift Demand

Shinsegae Department Store will also start the main sales of Lunar New Year gift sets from the 10th to the 27th. To capture New Year gift demand simultaneously, they prepared about 500,000 sets, increasing the volume by approximately 10% compared to last year. The volume of gift sets priced between 200,000 and 300,000 KRW was expanded by about 20%.

The representative new product, 'Shinsegae Female Hanwoo Gourmet,' considers the demand of customers pursuing gourmet experiences by including popular holiday cuts as well as various special cuts. It is also characterized by small packaging to make it easy to complete a meal, catering to the increasing number of single-person households.

The Shinsegae Female Hanwoo Gourmet Manbok, which allows tasting a variety of popular special cuts, is priced at 330,000 KRW, and the Shinsegae Female Hanwoo Gourmet Dabok, which includes popular grilling cuts such as tenderloin, ribeye, sirloin, and skirt meat, is priced at 290,000 KRW.

Shinsegae's signature Hanwoo brand, 'Shinsegae Female Hanwoo The Prime,' made only from 1++ grade female Hanwoo aged over 32 months, offers practical sets including grilling and bulgogi/soup cuts: The Shinsegae Female Hanwoo The Prime Manbok (350,000 KRW) and Obok (290,000 KRW).

Hyundai Department Store Proposes Over 1,300 Gift Sets

Hyundai Department Store will hold the main sales event for Lunar New Year gift sets from the 10th to the 28th at 15 stores nationwide, including Apgujeong Main Store, and online malls such as The Hyundai.com, Hyundai Food Hall To Home, and Hyundai H Mall. They will showcase over 1,300 types of holiday gift sets including meat, seafood, fresh produce, liquor, and health foods.

In the meat category, eco-friendly Hanwoo gift sets attract attention. Representative products include the 'Animal Welfare Organic Hanwoo Set' (850,000 KRW) from Jeonnam Haenam Manhee Farm and Hyunwoo Farm, recognized as organic livestock farms practicing the highest level of eco-friendly livestock farming with low-carbon certification; the 'Hyeonjungbae Farm Jeju Black Hanwoo Set' (700,000 KRW); the 'Satgatbong Farm Pasture Ecological Livestock Hanwoo Set' (530,000 KRW); and the 'Daegok Farm Pasture Ecological Livestock Hanwoo Set' (480,000 KRW).

In line with the simplified holiday trend, small-packaged Hanwoo gift sets have been greatly expanded. In seafood, traditional holiday gifts such as yellow corvina are offered in premium sets like 'Hyundai Premium Chamgulbi 10 pieces' (1,500,000?3,500,000 KRW), 'Yeonggwang Spring Gulbi 10 pieces' (250,000?750,000 KRW), and 'Yeonggwang Dried Gulbi 10 pieces' (650,000 KRW).
