According to the police, investigations are currently underway for 126 cases, with warrant applications, executions, and tracking investigations in progress.


The cyber investigation units of the city and provincial police agencies are investigating YouTube channels that generate and spread various false and fabricated information in real time.


A police official stated, "Indiscriminate posting of malicious posts and videos online is a serious criminal act," and added, "We ask that you refrain from posting rumors and malicious posts or videos so that the bereaved families do not suffer further pain."


Meanwhile, the police announced that they have handed over the bodies of the 179 victims who died in the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
