Dream Insight's subsidiary Unicorn Trophy Entertainment (hereinafter Unicorn Trophy Enter) announced on the 6th that it has signed a management contract with comedian Kim Won-hyo and is set to actively expand its entertainment and content intellectual property (IP) business.
Unicorn Trophy Enter is a 100% subsidiary of Dream Insight, specializing in planning and producing content IP based on new media influence and marketing capabilities. It is a comprehensive content company that maximizes the potential for success and profitability through the use of its parent company Dream Insight’s owned media and advertising power, as well as structural linkage.
With the exclusive contract signing with comedian Kim Won-hyo, the company plans to actively expand its business utilizing content IP beyond simple celebrity management to include celebrity IP-linked enter-commerce (entertainment commerce). In particular, the strategy is to secure competitive content by considering IP commercialization from the content planning stage. The company has already ventured into celebrity IP commercialization by collaborating with Chef Jang Ho-jun, who appeared on Black and White Chef, developing meal kits and preparing for franchise business.
A company official stated, "We plan to develop the content IP business as a new growth engine for Dream Insight and a core business to level up corporate value," adding, "We will build cooperative relationships and invest with celebrities from various fields to secure competitive IP, considering entry into the global market."
Meanwhile, Dream Insight entered the commerce and entertainment business last year by establishing specialized subsidiaries. The Creamers (Creative Commerce) business is conducted through LartzX, and the entertainment and content IP business is carried out through its subsidiary Unicorn Trophy Enter.
