Geochang-gun Announces Regular Personnel Changes for the First Half of 2025

Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, carried out the regular personnel appointments for the first half of 2025 on June 6, 2025, involving 268 people, including 44 promotees.

The total number of promotions was 44, broken down by rank as follows: ▲Grade 5: 3 people ▲Grade 6: 9 people ▲Grade 7: 12 people ▲Grade 8: 20 people. Key appointments included Shin Sunhwa as Head of Population Education Division, Ok Jinsuk as Head of Tourism Promotion Division, Park Jinsu as Head of Welfare Policy Division, Pyo Jeongae as Head of Environment Division, Lee Changjin as Head of Future Agriculture Division, Jo Hokyung as Head of Health Policy Division, Sim Seoni as Director of Geochang Golf Course Office, and Kim Seongnam as Head of Gabuk-myeon.

Geochang-gun 2025 First Half Regular Personnel Appointment.

This regular personnel appointment reflects the purpose of the organizational restructuring carried out to ensure the steady and successful completion of major projects, focusing on the core keywords of culture, arts, medical care, welfare, and agriculture in the second half of the 8th elected term.

First, the Tourism Promotion Division was newly established and staffed to lead the tourism sector proactively for the leap toward becoming a tourism industry city. The Agricultural Technology Center established the Future Agriculture Division to respond to the rapidly changing agricultural environment and strengthen agricultural technology competitiveness.

Additionally, the Geochang Golf Course Office was newly established and staffed for direct management following the early acquisition of the eco-friendly public golf course, Ecolian Geochang. Furthermore, personnel were assigned comprehensively considering job characteristics, work performance ability, and expertise to steadily advance pressing issues such as the construction of cremation facilities and the relocation and reconstruction project of the Red Cross Hospital to ensure fruitful outcomes.
