Court Dismisses President Yoon's Side's Objection to Arrest and Search Warrants

Earlier, on the 2nd, President Yoon's lawyers raised an objection to the court, claiming there were issues with the warrant contents ahead of the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (Gongsoocheo)'s attempt to execute the warrant.

The claim was that the phrase written by the judge on the warrant, "Articles 110 and 111 of the Criminal Procedure Act do not apply to this warrant," violated Article 12 of the Constitution, which states that "no arrest, detention, search, or seizure shall be made except as provided by law."

Articles 110 and 111 of the Criminal Procedure Act stipulate that places and objects related to military or official secrets cannot be seized or searched without the consent of the person responsible.
