Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) will extend the operation of the joint memorial altar, set up to honor the victims of the airline accident that occurred on December 29, from the original January 4 to January 10.
The district installed a joint memorial altar in the lobby on the first floor of Jungnang-gu Office on December 31 to mourn the victims and facilitate residents' condolences, and on January 1, an additional altar was set up at Myeonmok Station Plaza.
With the extension of the operation period, the joint memorial altar located in the lobby on the first floor of the district office will be open until 10 PM on January 10, and the altar at Myeonmok Station Plaza will operate until 6 PM on the same day.
