On the 3rd, Korea GM announced that it sold 499,559 units (complete vehicles) in the global market last year, marking the highest annual sales since 2017.
In particular, the increase in overseas sales throughout the year was a key factor. Korea GM's annual overseas sales last year reached 474,735 units, up 10.6% compared to the previous year. This is the highest figure since 2014. The Chevrolet Trax crossover and Trailblazer drove overseas performance with sales of 295,883 and 178,852 units respectively.
On the other hand, domestic sales amounted to 24,824 units, down 36% from the previous year. The Chevrolet Trax crossover and Trailblazer led sales performance, and the fully redesigned pickup truck Colorado performed well, selling out its initial stock within a day of launch.
Meanwhile, Korea GM sold a total of 53,325 units in December alone, recording a 3.7% increase compared to the same month last year. This is the highest monthly sales since December 2016.
