On the 3rd, Seosan City in Chungnam announced that the Seosan City Leaders' Association donated 3 million won to help neighbors in need.


During a regular meeting held that day in the city hall's medium conference room, the association discussed ways to promote mutual growth as a local community.


Before the regular meeting, a donation ceremony was held with Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop, Seosan City Leaders' Association President Ga Geum-hyeon, and 15 association members in attendance.


The city plans to deliver the donated 3 million won to the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea so that it can be used to support those in need within the city.


Ga Geum-hyeon, President of the Seosan City Leaders' Association, said, "The leaders of Seosan City came together with one heart to donate so that our neighbors in need can have a warm winter," and added, "We will continue to do our best to help those in need."


Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop stated, "I am grateful for the acts of sharing for our neighbors in need in the local community from the beginning of the year," and added, "Seosan City will also do its best to realize thorough and warm welfare by preparing and implementing various policies for those in need within the city."
