Bumin Hospital Group (Chairman Jeong Heung-tae) received an A grade for all three hospitals?Busan, Haeundae, and Seoul Bumin Hospitals?in the 2024 Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation announced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation, conducted annually by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, targets emergency medical institutions nationwide to assess the quality of emergency patient care, improve survival rates, promote effective operation of the emergency medical system, and encourage public contribution.
The evaluation was conducted on 408 emergency medical institutions, including 44 regional emergency medical centers, 136 local emergency medical centers, and 228 local emergency medical institutions.
In this evaluation, the three hospitals of Bumin Hospital Group (Busan, Haeundae, Seoul) scored highly across essential areas such as facilities, personnel, and equipment, as well as seven other areas including safety, effectiveness, patient-centeredness, timeliness, functionality, and publicness, covering 31 indicators. Notably, Haeundae Bumin Hospital ranked 3rd in Busan and 6th nationwide, receiving excellent evaluations for the timeliness and stability of its emergency medical services.
Chairman Jeong Heung-tae stated, “The three hospitals of Bumin Hospital Group (Busan, Haeundae, Seoul) have emergency medicine specialists on staff and secure professional personnel capable of performing 24-hour emergency surgeries, equipped with emergency treatment capabilities for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.” He added, “We will provide the best emergency medical services and become a medical institution trusted by the local community.”
