This Jinwoo-ri improvement project was carried out to resolve the risk of accidents and traffic congestion caused by the narrow turning radius at the Jinwoo Intersection on Local Road No. 98, with a total project cost of 900 million KRW fully funded by provincial government.
Additionally, the Dowung-ri improvement project involved various enhancements, including the installation of a dedicated right-turn lane by investing 100 million KRW of city funds to alleviate traffic congestion at the Dogung Elementary School three-way intersection. Through these efforts, the traffic flow at the intersection in the area is expected to become smoother, and residents' safety will be further ensured.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, “We expect the local traffic environment to be greatly improved through this corner intersection improvement project,” and added, “We will continue to promote intersection improvements to create a pleasant and safe traffic environment.”
