Instead of holding the group’s traditional New Year ceremony involving all employees, the event started with wearing black ribbons to join in the national mourning period following a major national tragedy, followed by a moment of silence for the victims. The program then proceeded with departmental business reports and a pledge by the management to practice ethical management to promote a clean organizational culture.
During the departmental business reports, the achievements of 2024 were reviewed, and the goals and execution strategies for 2025 were discussed, sharing a vision for the sustainable growth and development of the financial group.
At the subsequent management ethical management pledge ceremony, the executives vowed to lead by example by complying with laws and principles, prohibiting unfair work orders using their positions, and maintaining integrity. They renewed their commitment as trustworthy ‘Right BNK’ executives. It was announced that this pledge will be expanded to include all executives across the group.
A BNK Financial Group official stated, “Rather than resting on current achievements, we have set the group’s 2025 management policy to strengthen the competitiveness of core businesses in order to boldly improve inefficiencies and expand our strides toward the future through change and innovation.” He added, “All group employees will continue to practice finance that transforms crises into opportunities through innovation that surpasses existing methods with a spirit of革故鼎新 (Gyeokgo Deongsin), bringing convenience and prosperity to customers and local communities.”
