Ulju-gun, Recruiting Companies for Small and Medium Enterprise Youth Internship Program

Ulju-gun, Ulsan City, is recruiting participating companies for the '2025 Small and Medium Enterprise Youth Internship Project' to address youth unemployment and manpower shortages in small and medium-sized enterprises.


The eligible applicants are small and medium (medium-sized) manufacturing enterprises with five or more regular employees subject to employment insurance, located in Ulju-gun. Companies willing to newly hire Ulju-gun youth as interns and regular employees can participate.


Interns must be unemployed youth aged 39 or younger who are registered residents of Ulju-gun as of the application date. The project plans to support the hiring of 50 interns. Support can be provided for up to 20% of the company's regular workforce, with a maximum of five interns per company.


Participating companies will receive 800,000 KRW per intern per month for up to nine months. When an intern is converted to a regular employee, 1,000,000 KRW will be paid, and 2,000,000 KRW will be provided after nine months of employment.


Applications can be submitted year-round by downloading the required documents from the Ulju-gun website and sending them via email.

An official from Ulju-gun stated, "This project will support the internship activities of Ulju-gun youth to help them find employment and contribute to resolving manpower shortages in small and medium enterprises. We ask for the interest and participation of many local companies."
