Dong-gu, Daejeon to Open Children's Snow Sledding Hill in Sangso-dong on the 9th Namsseolmae Sledding Hill, Sangso-dong, Dong-gu / Dong-gu

Daejeon Dong-gu announced on the 2nd that the "Children's Snow Sledding Hill" established at Sangsoculture Park in Dong-gu will be open for 25 days from the 9th until the 2nd of next month.

The facility is open to families with infants and elementary school-aged children. Admission and use of snow sledding tubes are free for infants and elementary school students, while adults are required to pay an entrance fee of 1,000 won.

The sledding hill operates in two sessions each day except Mondays, when it is closed: the first session is in the morning (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and the second session is in the afternoon (1:30 PM to 4:00 PM). For safety inspections, all visitors must exit after the first session, and re-entry is allowed on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to snow sledding, the facility will offer various programs, including the Sangsodong Forest Bath Ice Hill, which began operation on the 23rd of last month, a snow hill playground, snow slopes for infants and families, and experiential play facilities.

Park Heejo, head of Dong-gu District Office, said, "The children's snow sledding hill, which was operated for the first time last year, was very popular and made children's winter vacations memorable. This year as well, we will thoroughly manage safety through facility inspections so that many families can visit and create joyful and happy memories."
