Customer-Centered Innovation Order
Hyun Jeong-eun, Chairwoman of Hyundai Group, called for customer-centric innovation in her New Year's address for 2025.
On the 2nd, Chairwoman Hyun delivered this message via email to about 6,000 employees both domestically and internationally, including those at Hyundai Elevator, Hyundai Movex, and Hyundai Asan.
Chairwoman Hyun emphasized customer-centric management again, stating, "Customer experience is like a receivable that a company must repay with satisfaction." She added, "While corporate clients who provide immediate work are important, it is essential to understand and proactively respond to the needs of the actual users of our products to secure the future. We must carefully examine the well-accumulated customer experience data, repay it with customer satisfaction, and create a virtuous cycle by turning it into new customer experiences."
She also encouraged employees by mentioning Hyundai Group's established 'Winning Mentality.' Chairwoman Hyun included in her New Year's address the words of the late Honorary Chairman Chung Ju-yung, "Giving up is failure, but if you believe in victory, you will be victorious forever," and the late Chairman Chung Mong-hun's saying, "Only those who are prepared and determined to change can win."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Group held its first workday event of the new year at the Hyundai Group headquarters in Yeonji-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Affiliate company representatives presented nuts symbolizing New Year's wishes to about 1,000 employees and organized programs such as writing wishes and taking photos.
A Hyundai Group official stated, "In a business environment where industry boundaries are becoming blurred, expanding and redefining the concept of customers will be an essential process for future management," adding, "In the new year, we plan to focus on getting one step closer to customers and laying the foundation for a more ultimate leap forward."
