EyesVision announced on the 2nd that it has signed a basic agreement with Sejong Telecom for the transfer of MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) subscribers.
The specific details, including the method and timing of the subscriber transfer, will be finalized through further discussions. Both companies plan to cooperate to ensure a smooth subscriber transfer, prioritizing user benefits and protection.
In particular, through this agreement, the company explained that it has secured competitiveness as the number one online new subscriber MVNO operator in South Korea, excluding mobile network subsidiaries, with a cumulative postpaid subscriber base of 400,000.
EyesVision plans to use this Sejong Telecom subscriber transfer as a turning point to continue multifaceted efforts to improve the quality of MVNO services, including ▲strengthening partnerships and online competitiveness ▲enhancing customer consultation efficiency through the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Through this, they aim to improve customer satisfaction and continuously expand user benefits.
An EyesVision official stated, “We anticipate the government’s MVNO activation policy to be strengthened, and under the enhanced regulatory environment such as the introduction of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), we have already established professional business capabilities and systems,” adding, “We boldly decided to acquire Sejong Telecom subscribers to secure differentiated competitiveness based on our subscriber base.”
He continued, “We are pleased to gain the opportunity to provide differentiated services to more customers through the transfer of Sejong Telecom subscribers,” and added, “We plan to further strengthen our competitiveness in the MVNO market by gaining customer trust through industry-leading technologies and services.”
