Dongdaemun-gu Operates Memorial Altar for Victims of Passenger Plane Accident

Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) has set up a joint memorial altar in the plaza in front of the district office to honor the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.


The memorial altar will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until January 4, the national mourning period.


On the 31st, Dongdaemun-gu Mayor Lee Pil-hyung and senior officials visited the National 5.18 Democratic Cemetery to pledge their dedication to the country and made New Year's resolutions. On the first day of the new year, they visited the memorial altar to pay tribute to the victims.
