Sosangin 365 is a data-driven management support platform for prospective entrepreneurs and small business owners. It is an advanced version of the ‘Commercial Area Information System’ that has been operated since 2006. It collects 64 public and private data sources and integrates them into 22 types to improve the quality and scope of data.

One of the main features, ‘Big Data Commercial Area Analysis,’ is a service that helps prevent oversaturation of startups and supports competitiveness. It provides information necessary for selecting business locations and industries by adding location evaluation and delivery information analysis reports, and newly introduced the ‘Follow Along’ feature to make it easy for users unfamiliar with digital tools to use the service.

‘My Store Management Diagnosis’ analyzes the competitiveness, growth prospects, and survival potential of individual businesses based on sales, customer interest, and more. It also provides information necessary for small business owners to establish management strategies, such as popular menu items by time and floating population.

‘Commercial Area & Market Hot Trends’ offers hot place commercial area information reflecting specific customer groups and consumption trends, such as dining areas with many office workers and delivery areas with high delivery sales. It helps in selecting locations linked to startup items.

‘Policy Information All Guide’ provides information on government support projects in connection with ‘Sosangin 24,’ a policy information guidance platform for small business owners.

During the pilot operation period, feedback was collected through the ‘Bug Fixing Event,’ and the received improvements were actively reflected. Additionally, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot service was newly introduced. It regularly learns support project information from Sosangin 24 and guides users to support projects that meet their conditions when they ask questions in everyday language (natural language). A conditional support project search function was introduced to Sosangin 24, and a customized notification service that proactively guides users to suitable support projects through analysis of registered business information and behavioral data (logs) is also provided.

Won Young-jun, Director of the Small Business Policy Office at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, “As the number ‘365’ implies, we will help prospective entrepreneurs and small business owners easily obtain the information they need anytime and anywhere.”

Park Sung-hyo, Director of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, said, “We actively reflected user feedback during the pilot operation period of Sosangin 365 and newly introduced AI chatbot and customized notification services linked with Sosangin 24 to make it more convenient to check necessary support projects. We will continue our efforts to ensure that Sosangin 365 can be a practical help for the successful startup of prospective entrepreneurs and the management stability of small business owners.”
