Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Completes Digitization of Permanent Cadastral Records

Gwangsan-gu in Gwangju has completed the digitization project for permanent cadastral records that were previously recorded and stored on paper.


Gwangsan-gu announced on the 31st that it has finished digitizing a total of 742,972 cadastral records, including land movement resolutions and land readjustment plans, from 2022 to this year.

Cadastral records refer to documents such as cadastral maps, forest land maps, land movement resolutions, and survey result maps, which serve as important administrative data and the basis for changes in cadastral records.


Park Byungkyu, the head of the district office, said, "We will contribute to protecting citizens' property rights by managing permanent cadastral documents safely and efficiently," and added, "We will enhance citizen convenience by providing prompt and accurate information."
