Ace Fiber Donates 10 Million KRW to Yangju City

Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 31st that on the 27th, Ace Textile (CEO Lee Sang-baek), located in Eunhyeon-myeon, visited the city hall and donated 10 million KRW to be used for neighbors in need.

The donation ceremony was attended by Yangju Mayor Kang Su-hyun, Director Kim Seong-hoon, and Manager Lee Hye-jin, and the donation will be delivered to vulnerable groups in the area through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.

Manager Lee Hye-jin stated, “We made this donation to deliver warm love to neighbors who are very vulnerable to the cold and socially marginalized,” and added, “We want to continue practicing sharing and various volunteer activities to contribute to the local community.”

Mayor Kang Su-hyun expressed deep gratitude to the CEO of Ace Textile for the donation, saying, “We will sincerely convey the warm hearts of the CEO and employees who have practiced sharing for the socially marginalized in the community every year despite difficult times.”

Meanwhile, Ace Textile joined as the 4th member of the Yangju Honor Society in 2017 and has been steadily continuing social contribution activities every year, including donating 5 million KRW last year.

The Honor Society is a private high-donor club established by the Community Chest of Korea, where membership is granted to those who donate 100 million KRW or more, or pledge to donate 100 million KRW within five years.
