Kyobo Securities Announces Organizational Restructuring and Staff Appointments "Will Pursue Sustainable Growth"

The main points of this organizational restructuring include the establishment of a new Asset Management Division to enhance efficient linked sales, the integration of real estate-related headquarters to strengthen synergy between DCM and VC operations, and the enhancement of competitiveness in asset management and product sales.

A new Asset Management Division was established to manage and operate the WM Business Headquarters and the IPS (Investment Product Service) Headquarters in an integrated manner. By building an efficient linked operation system between ‘Retail Biz and Asset Management Biz,’ the company plans to strengthen retail channels and customer base and target digital customers to provide new asset management services.

The IB Division integrated the Structured Finance Headquarters and Investment Finance Headquarters into the Structured Investment Finance Headquarters to secure continuous profit-generating capabilities and revitalize organizational operations. Additionally, the DCM Headquarters was moved to activate linked sales such as corporate bonds and securitized securities underwriting, thereby expanding market dominance. Furthermore, to improve the management system due to the expansion of the VC business area and to strengthen synergy when promoting digital asset commercialization, the VC Business Department was placed under the IB Division.

The Sales & Trading Division established the FIS (Fixed Income Solutions) Headquarters to expand the asset management and product sales business areas and strengthen execution capabilities. Under the FIS Headquarters, the Alternative Investment Solutions Department and Multi-Asset Solutions Department were placed to enhance profitability through efficient integrated management.

Moreover, a Risk Strategy Department was newly established to strengthen internal control through efficient allocation and operation of risk resources and to improve the formulation and execution of overall risk management strategies.

A Kyobo Securities official stated, "Next year, Kyobo Securities will set ‘accelerating growth through strengthening business competitiveness and solidifying internal control’ as its management policy and will pursue sustainable growth through Kyobo Group’s ambidextrous management."
