The insurance industry will provide on-site support related to the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster that occurred at Muan International Airport in Jeonnam.
The Life Insurance Association and the General Insurance Association announced that they will establish a joint on-site consultation center for the insurance industry within the integrated support center for disaster victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident at Muan Airport, and will operate it starting from the 30th.
The insurance industry plans to help ensure prompt and appropriate compensation for the victims of this accident. Through the operation of the on-site consultation center, they will actively support consultation services related to insurance claim applications and payments.
Representatives from the life and general insurance sectors stated, "We will do our best to assist the victims who are experiencing difficulties due to this unexpected accident."
