The Dangjin City Council in Chungnam adopted the personnel hearing progress reports for the candidates for CEO of the Dangjin Cultural Foundation, Chairman of the Dangjin Welfare Foundation, and President of the Dangjin Urban Corporation on the 27th.
The city council held personnel hearings for the candidates for the Cultural Foundation and Welfare Foundation on the 23rd, and for the Urban Corporation on the 26th. During these hearings, the council thoroughly examined each candidate's expertise, qualifications, and integrity. On the 27th, the final progress reports were adopted based on the hearing results.
The Special Committee for the Personnel Hearing of the Dangjin Cultural Foundation CEO (Chairperson Choi Yeonsuk) stated that they verified the expertise of candidate Lee Woncheol by reviewing his plans to link local culture and economy, confirming his capabilities as a professional manager.
The Special Committee for the Personnel Hearing of the Dangjin Urban Corporation President (Chairperson Kim Bonggyun) reported that they examined candidate Kim Yangsu's practical experience and transparent management style, as well as his vision for the corporation's development.
Additionally, the Special Committee for the Personnel Hearing of the Dangjin Welfare Foundation Chairman (Chairperson Kim Myeonghoe) stated that the committee members focused on verifying the candidate’s ability to manage the foundation, as well as their vision and leadership as a public institution head.
According to the adopted progress reports, the Dangjin City Council’s special committees recognized the expertise and capabilities of Lee Woncheol, candidate for CEO of the Dangjin Cultural Foundation, and Kim Yangsu, candidate for President of the Dangjin Urban Corporation, and gave a “suitable” opinion for both. However, for Park Yongseon, candidate for Chairman of the Dangjin Welfare Foundation, the committee adopted an “unsuitable” opinion, citing his failure to present concrete plans.
Meanwhile, the progress reports reflect the results of an in-depth review process by the city council. The reports will be delivered by the Chairman of the Dangjin City Council to the Mayor of Dangjin by the 30th, after which the final decision on the appointment of the candidates will be made.
