Gyeonggi Hanam City (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 30th that it was selected as an 'Outstanding Partner Organization and This Year's Best Recommendation Award' by the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters.

The Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters is a foundation that supports children in crisis, working in connection with 135 organizations (including 16 local governments and related organizations) to discover and support children in crisis who are in welfare blind spots.
Among them, Hanam City was recognized for its active efforts in discovering and supporting children in crisis and was selected as one of the 18 outstanding partner organizations. It also received the 'This Year's Best Recommendation Award' in high regard for leading the discovery and recommendation of beneficiaries.
In 2024, Hanam City carried out a total of 11 projects (11.66 million KRW) through the support projects of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, including ▲ 6 welfare blind spot support projects (6 million KRW) ▲ 1 medical and housing support project (4.16 million KRW) ▲ 1 family care child support project (1 million KRW).
Mayor Lee Hyun-jae of Hanam City said, "This award is the result of efforts to support children in crisis by utilizing private resources," and added, "Hanam City will continue to do its best to eliminate welfare blind spots and protect families in crisis."
