Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Holds the 6th Gori Nuclear Power Communication Committee Meeting

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters held the '6th Gori Nuclear Power Communication Committee Meeting of 2024' on the 27th in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.

At this meeting, the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters presented appointment letters to the new outside committee members and provided detailed explanations to the communication committee members about the power plant's operational status, regional cooperation activities, continued operation, and dry storage facilities, which are major issues of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters.


Subsequently, through a free discussion among the communication committee members, time was spent broadening mutual understanding for coexistence, cooperation, and harmony with the local community.


Lee Sang-wook, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "I am very pleased to meet the committee members as the newly appointed chairman, and I will strive to listen to the diverse voices of the local community together with the communication committee members and work towards resolving the headquarters' pending issues and achieving mutual development with the region."


The Gori Nuclear Power Communication Committee is a body composed of county council members, public officials, journalists, and regional development experts to maintain ongoing communication with local residents, and it is held six times a year.
