Seoul Metropolitan Council Chair Choi Hojung Joins Forces with Korea Housing Construction Association Seoul Chapter for Housing Stability

Choi Hojung, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, signed a business agreement on the 26th with the Korea Housing Construction Association Seoul Chapter to revitalize housing supply in Seoul and ensure residential stability for citizens.


Attending the agreement signing were former Chairperson Kim Hyunki (Housing and Space Committee member), Kim Taesu, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council Housing and Space Committee, Lee Minseok, Vice Chairperson of the Housing and Space Committee, Hong Kyungseon, President of the Korea Housing Construction Association Seoul Chapter, Vice Presidents Park Giok and Lee Dongho, Auditors Kim Hakseon and Kim Minho, among others.


Through this business agreement, both organizations agreed to actively cooperate in social contribution activities aimed at improving the environment for vulnerable housing groups, collaborate to correct overlapping and unreasonable regulations to revitalize housing supply in the Seoul area, and work together to promote housing market revitalization for citizen job creation while actively communicating with related organizations.


Chairperson Choi stated, “In difficult times such as the domestic economic downturn, it is more important than ever to unite our efforts,” adding, “The public and private sectors will cooperate to promote housing supply revitalization and actively work toward residential stability for citizens.”


She also said, “In particular, we will support projects to improve the environment for vulnerable housing groups so that they can nurture their dreams and hopes in more stable spaces.”
