Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) signed a consignment agreement on the 26th with the social welfare corporation Samyuk Foundation for the management and operation of the 'District-run Huigyeong-Imun Nuri Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.'
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, and Kang Soon-gi, CEO of the social welfare corporation Samyuk Foundation, promised to work together to improve the welfare of local residents and promote better development of Dongdaemun-gu.
The 'District-run Huigyeong-Imun Nuri Comprehensive Social Welfare Center,' covering Huigyeong-dong, Imun-dong, and Hoegi-dong, is scheduled to open in October 2025.
It is being constructed in the Huigyeong 3 Redevelopment Promotion Zone at 100-35 Huigyeong-dong, consisting of 2 basement floors and 4 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 5,557.94㎡.
After a public announcement (held for 40 days from October 8, 2024), the Samyuk Foundation, which was finally selected, will be responsible for the management and operation of the Huigyeong-Imun Nuri Comprehensive Social Welfare Center for the next five years.
