Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) carried out the 2025 regular personnel appointments effective January 1st on the 27th.
This personnel appointment focused on the stable promotion of future industries and revitalization of the livelihood economy in the second half of the 8th elected term, prioritizing performance- and ability-based selections such as experienced experts who can produce concrete results in realizing the "Future Industry Global City."
Additionally, young and capable directors at the bureau level were strategically assigned to key provincial administration areas such as future industries, response to regional extinction, and SOC expansion to invigorate the organization, accelerating Gangwon’s transformation into a future industry hub.
According to the Gangwon Special Act, Jeong Il-seop, Head of the Global Headquarters, was appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Committee by the governor with the consent of the Provincial Council.
