Yangsan City Youth Policy Group Performance Sharing Meeting Successfully Held

Seeking Youth Policy Development Through Performance Sharing Meeting

On the 26th at 6 p.m., Yangsan City in Gyeongnam successfully held a Youth Policy Group Performance Sharing Meeting at the Yangsan Youth Center ‘Cheongdam’.

The event was attended by 15 members of the Youth Policy Group, providing an opportunity to share their activities throughout 2024 and discuss future directions.

First, commendations were awarded to two members of the Youth Policy Group who contributed to the development of Yangsan City, expressing gratitude for their efforts over the past year. Additionally, a roundtable meeting between Mayor Na Dong-yeon of Yangsan and the Youth Policy Group facilitated active exchanges of various opinions and suggestions related to youth policies.

This performance sharing meeting introduced the activities led by the Youth Policy Group throughout 2024, and included presentations and sharing of policies proposed by the Job Division, Culture and Arts Division, and Life Stability Division.

Through the sharing of achievements, diverse opinions and proposals from young people were collected to evaluate policies and seek directions for future policy improvement and development. The event was meaningful in that it introduced the outcomes of policies to participants while presenting concrete directions on how to reflect the needs of the local community and youth.

Finally, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions about the future activity directions of the Youth Policy Group. They agreed to improve on shortcomings identified through this year’s activity analysis, discuss plans for next year’s activities, and work together to propose better policies.

This event reaffirmed the importance of Yangsan City’s policy efforts in collaboration with youth and became a meaningful occasion to share the achievements and vision of the Youth Policy Group.

Mayor Na Dong-yeon said, “We will strive for the continuous development of the Youth Policy Group as a platform for youth policy participation, communication, and cooperation,” and added, “I urged the Youth Policy Group to make their best efforts to discover effective youth policies that can have a positive impact on the entire local community.”
