Singer Kim Jeong-min (56) announced the cancellation of his performances due to health issues.

On the 27th, Kim Jeong-min bowed his head and apologized through his personal Instagram account, saying, "I sincerely apologize for the postponement of the performances you had planned to attend, having cleared your precious year-end schedules."

He continued, "I tried every day with hospital visits and medication, but my condition did not improve at all, so I had no choice but to postpone. I sincerely apologize for this," adding, "It was a situation I could not overcome with my own strength and will. My voice is completely uncontrollable and does not come out."

He said, "I hope everyone has a great year-end and a Happy New Year. Once again, I sincerely apologize," and added, "I will recover quickly and come back to see you."

The photo released along with the statement appears to show a medical certificate. It notes that treatment is required for two weeks due to sore throat, nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, cough, and sputum.

Kim Jeong-min started his performance schedule on the 25th in Changwon and was scheduled to perform in Daegu on the 29th. He was also preparing for performances in Gwangju and Incheon in January next year, but these are expected to be disrupted due to health issues.
