With the securing of this special grant, the construction of the complex building has gained momentum and is scheduled for completion in October 2025.
In particular, this national fund acquisition is a result of the organic cooperation between National Assembly member Jeong Seong-ho and the Yangju City Accounting and Planning & Budget Departments, adding significant meaning amid difficult local financial conditions.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun stated, “Despite the challenging financial conditions, we will make greater efforts to secure national and provincial funds for projects with high resident impact like the Yangju 1-dong Complex Building, so that residents can enjoy not only administrative services but also various cultural benefits.”
