Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Holds 'Bachelor's Degree Major Deepening Course Performance Sharing Workshop'

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology recently held the '2024 Academic Year Bachelor's Degree Major Specialization Course Performance Sharing Workshop' in the main building's 2nd-floor conference room.

The workshop, held on the 18th, was the first since the bachelor's degree major specialization course was established in 2012 to be conducted by 10 departments, sharing best practices and exchanging information to explore ways to activate and operate the major specialization course.

The event was attended by about 30 people, including Dong-Eui Institute of Technology President Kim Young-do, Dean of Academic Affairs Kim Dae-kyung, major specialization course professors and department heads, and industry representatives. Departments such as Physical Therapy, Radiology, Industrial Health and Emergency Rescue, Clinical Pathology, Early Childhood Education, Real Estate Management, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering, Architectural Design, and Police and Fire Science presented their best practices in order, followed by an operations committee meeting.

Kim Dae-kyung, Dean of Academic Affairs at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, said, "The student recruitment rate for the bachelor's degree major specialization course is increasing, and through this workshop, I hope that the achievements of each department are well shared and that good cases spread to other departments."

Kim Young-do, President of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, "Unlike transfer admissions to general universities, the bachelor's degree major specialization course is based on vocational education at junior colleges, with the purpose of the bachelor's degree being proficiency. If each department shares and learns know-how, good results can be expected."
