Busan-based local IT company GlobalTopNet Co., Ltd. (CEO Hyunho Lee) has been selected as a ‘Busan-type Hidden Champion Company’ by the Busan Metropolitan City.

On the 27th, CEO Hyunho Lee received the Hidden Champion plaque from Busan Mayor Hyungjun Park. This event is a project that discovers and supports companies that have contributed to the local economy and industry through innovative technologies and business models.

Busan Metropolitan City has established the ‘6th Comprehensive Strategic Industry Development Plan (Master Plan 2024?2028),’ which is prepared every five years to foster local industries and revitalize the regional economy.

According to this development plan, under the vision of ‘Busan Industry Reborn, Big Challenge,’ nine strategic industries have been selected in line with three major development directions, and industry-specific development projects investing 3.1263 trillion KRW will be promoted until 2028.

GlobalTopNet’s acquisition of the Busan-type Hidden Champion Company title signifies its establishment as a key company leading the development of Busan’s IT industry.
