The Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Center (hereinafter HanYuwon), under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, announced on the 26th that it donated goods worth 30 million KRW to the Happy Sharing Foundation to support marginalized neighbors in celebration of the Donghaeng Festival.
HanYuwon has been continuously conducting warm sharing activities for marginalized neighbors every year at the end of the year. The donated items for this sharing activity include approximately 30 million KRW worth of goods such as 100 pairs of shoes, 1,500 cosmetics, 200 women's clothing items, and 100 children's clothing items, expanding the scale in line with the December Donghaeng Festival.

The donated goods will be sold at sharing stores (11 stores nationwide) operated by Happy Sharing, and the sales proceeds will be used to create jobs, develop capabilities, and support self-reliance for marginalized neighbors.
In addition to this donation activity, HanYuwon has continued various activities to spread the culture of sharing, such as holding bazaars with social enterprises and public institutions and donating funds raised by employees at the Happy Department Store operated in Mokdong, Seoul, in celebration of the December Donghaeng Festival.
Lee Tae-sik, CEO of HanYuwon, said, “We are pleased to provide warm sharing to marginalized neighbors through this December Donghaeng Festival,” and added, “We will continue to strive so that the small flutter of Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Center can gradually spread to many institutions.”
