On the 27th... Final Disaster Prevention Officer Awarded 'Best'
Commendations for Officers Park Hyewon, Park Yejin, Jang Dongsin, Lee Yunhee, and Park Inseok
Inje-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Choi Sang-gi) announced on the 27th that it has selected six outstanding public officials who have demonstrated proactive administration based on creativity and expertise.
Inje-gun received a total of nine cases of proactive administration up to this month, and after review by the Proactive Administration Committee, six outstanding public officials were selected (1 grand prize, 1 excellence award, and 4 encouragement awards).
The grand prize for outstanding proactive administration was awarded to Choi Jong-in, a public official from the Safety and Traffic Division (“No more disaster damage in Inje, Comprehensive Flood and Wind Damage Maintenance Project! Inje is now safe”).

Officer Choi, responsible for disaster prevention tasks, contributed to the selection of the Comprehensive Flood and Wind Damage Maintenance Project contest hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, concretized the project details, secured a large-scale national budget, and worked to prevent damage in areas prone to frequent disasters.
In addition, the excellence award went to Park Hye-won from the Regional Development Division (“Active fundraising! Increase in hometown love donations in Inje-gun!”), and encouragement awards were given to Park Ye-jin from the Economic Industry Division (“DMZ On Bakery Project”), Jang Dong-shin from the Agricultural Technology Division (“Drone pest control, more and easier!”), Lee Yoon-hee from the Health Policy Division (“No more parking worries~ Now Inje-gun Health Center is a parking paradise!”), and Park In-seok, team leader of the Facility Management Office (“Membership card! Now right inside your phone!”).
Inje-gun plans to award commendations and provide additional points in the first half of next year’s performance evaluation to the selected outstanding public officials to boost employee morale and motivate proactive administration.
Park Hyun-bong, Deputy Governor of Inje, stated, “We will strive to spread the atmosphere of proactive administration within the public service and provide administrative services that residents can feel and be satisfied with.”
