A man in his 60s working on Christmas in Geochang dies after being crushed by a forklift

On Christmas Day, the 25th, a worker at a factory in Geochang, Gyeongnam, was crushed to death by a 1-ton forklift.

According to the Geochang Police Station on the 26th, at around 11:46 a.m. the previous day, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, was crushed by the forklift he was operating at a food manufacturing factory in Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun.

The forklift, which was reversing down a slope at the time, collided with a tree on the right side of the road and tipped over to the left due to the impact.

The fallen forklift covered Mr. A, who had fallen from the driver's seat as a result of the accident, and he was urgently transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately passed away during treatment.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning factory employees and others.
