On the morning of the 26th, Oh Seung-rok, the mayor of Nowon District, visited the site of the ‘2025 Ssingssing Snow Sledding Park’ set up at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology’s sports complex.
The ‘2025 Ssingssing Snow Sledding Park’ is Nowon District’s representative winter playground. This year as well, it is fully prepared to offer residents special winter memories with various experiential facilities and a safe operating system.
The snow sledding park is divided into adult sledding slopes (90m long, 10 lanes) and children’s sledding slopes (50m long, 6 lanes), and includes winter-exclusive experiential facilities such as ▲ice rink ▲snow playland, as well as various programs for family visitors to enjoy together, including ▲amusement park ▲smelt fishing experience site ▲curling and traditional games experience site.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok, after touring the site, inspected the facilities and urged that the safety of users be prioritized. He also encouraged the safety personnel and staff deployed on site and requested thorough safety management.
The 2025 Nowon Snow Sledding Park will operate for one month from December 26 to January 26 of next year, and is available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nowon residents, Seoul National University of Science and Technology students and staff, and children under 36 months can enter free of charge, while residents from other areas are charged an entrance fee of 2,000 won.
Oh Seung-rok, mayor of Nowon District, said, “We have prepared various experiential programs and safety facilities to ensure both safety and enjoyment during winter,” and added, “I hope many residents come to safely and happily enjoy the winter.”
