Hwang Ju-ryong, Vice Chairman of Dongducheon City Council, Receives 'Seoul Peace Culture Award' in Administrative Division

Hwang Ju-ryong, Vice Chairman of the Dongducheon City Council in Gyeonggi Province, was honored with the Grand Prize in the Administrative Division at the '2024 Seoul Peace Culture Awards Ceremony' held on the 26th at the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Seoul.

This awards ceremony was hosted by the Seoul Peace Culture Awards Committee and organized by Seoul Daily, Seoul Ilbo, Domin Ilbo, and Sisa News Agency. It recognizes and awards individuals who have contributed in various fields, widely promoting leaders who take the lead for society and awarding them for their continuous efforts toward social development.

Vice Chairman Hwang Ju-ryong served as the Vice Chairman of the 9th Dongducheon City Council during both the first and second halves of the term. He conducted professional and dedicated legislative activities on current issues in Dongducheon, was recognized for his efforts to actively promote administration by inspecting sites and proposing policies beneficial to citizens, and thus received this prestigious award.
