No Real Estate Secured Loan Taken... Full Payment Made in Cash
Actor Yoo Ah-in (real name Eom Hong-sik) has been revealed to have sold a detached house located in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to a 7-year-old buyer.
On the 26th, Biz Hankook reported that the detached house in Itaewon (land area 337㎡, total floor area 418.26㎡), which Yoo Ah-in sold for 6.3 billion KRW, was purchased by a child born in July 2017. According to the real estate registry, the sales contract was signed on the 20th of last month, and the ownership transfer registration was submitted to the court on the 19th of this month, exactly one month after the contract was signed.
The media reported, "The buyer who received the ownership of the house appears to have paid the full 6.3 billion KRW in cash, as no mortgage loan was taken out after the ownership transfer." The real estate industry believes that a couple running a company purchased the house under their child's name. This is because the address registered at the time of ownership transfer registration at the court was reported as the couple's residence.
Previously, Yoo Ah-in appeared on the 2020 MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' and revealed the house he was living in. At that time, the house attracted attention for its glass-walled kitchen and indoor garden. When he put the property on the market three years ago, he had set a desired price of 8 billion KRW, but since it was sold for 1.7 billion KRW less, it is presumed that it was a quick sale.
