Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience cold weather accompanied by snow or rain in some areas.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 26th, the weather was generally clear and mild on this day.
In Gwangju and Jeonnam, starting from late dawn on the 27th, rain or snow is expected on the west coast of Jeonnam, and in the morning, in Gwangju and other inland areas of Jeonnam. The expected snowfall in the northwestern region of Gwangju and Jeonnam is around 3 to 10 cm. The expected precipitation is less than 5 mm in Gwangju and 5 to 10 mm in northwestern Jeonnam.
The morning's lowest temperatures are expected to be -3 degrees Celsius in Damyang, Gurye, Boseong, and Hwasun; -2 degrees in Jangseong, Yeonggwang, Naju, Yeongam, Gwangyang, and Suncheon; -1 degree in Gwangju, Muan, Hampyeong, Jangheung, Goheung, and Yeosu; 0 degrees in Haenam and Gangjin; 1 degree in Mokpo, Shinan, and Wando; and 2 degrees in Jindo.
The daytime high temperatures are expected to be 7 degrees Celsius in Gwangyang, Goheung, Wando, Haenam, and Shinan; 6 degrees in Jangheung, Gangjin, Yeosu, and Jindo; 5 degrees in Hampyeong, Muan, Naju, Yeongam, Mokpo, Boseong, and Suncheon; and 4 degrees in Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, and Hwasun, which is lower than the previous day.
Wave heights will be 1.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and 1 to 2 meters in the South Sea. Fine dust levels will remain at a 'good' level in both Gwangju and Jeonnam.
A representative from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "Heavy snow of 1 to 3 cm per hour is expected, especially in the northwestern areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, so please be cautious to prevent any damage caused by the snow."
