Im Tae-hee, Superintendent of Education, "Gyeonggi Education Policy, Faithful Communication with the Field is Important"

Im Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized that "various policies of Gyeonggi education must be actively communicated with the field to ensure that policies for students and teachers are properly delivered, recognized, and implemented."


On the 26th, Superintendent Im attended the '2024 Major Work Performance Report Meeting' and stated, "The important thing is how faithfully communication with the field, which accepts and implements policies, is carried out."


He also urged, "Policy departments should consult with education support offices and communicate with the field to have an attitude of improving any shortcomings."

On that day, the performance report meeting was divided into four themes: ▲academic achievement improvement ▲protection of educational activities ▲securing school educational capacity ▲expansion of future education systems.


First, under the theme of academic achievement improvement, they shared topics such as autonomous evaluation of academic achievement, customized education using Hi-Learning, special education support, and expansion of Gyeonggi IB (International Baccalaureate) schools.


Next, in the protection of educational activities, presentations were made on the Gyeonggi Teacher Rights Protection Support Center, the teacher rights protection direct hotline, the educational activity protection system, expansion of practical legal support, and strengthening of basic character education.


Additionally, major achievements in expanding future education systems through regional education cooperation, such as Gyeonggi Shared Schools, Neulbom Schools, and regionally tailored multicultural education, were shared.
