Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, urged senior officials of Gyeonggi Province to carry out provincial administration with gender sensitivity and an open mind.
On the 26th, Governor Kim attended the ‘Special Training on Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence’ held at the provincial government auditorium, attended by over 300 senior officials including team leaders, and said, "Including myself, senior officials must have (gender) sensitivity. There seems to be quite a difference in thoughts between young public officials or the MZ generation and some senior officials or seniors," adding, "If there are any preconceived notions, I hope everyone puts them aside and listens to the lecture with a very humble attitude."
He continued, "I hope this will be an opportunity not only related to simple sexual violence issues but also to reflect on other people or those with different thoughts, especially young people and gender issues, with an open mind as we move forward with provincial administration."

Since 2022, under Governor Kim Dong-yeon's directive, Gyeonggi Province has expanded sexual harassment and sexual violence prevention education for senior officials up to the team leader level.
This training featured lawyer Cheon Jeong-ah from the law firm Yuhan (Gangnam), who shared the results of a workplace sexual harassment survey and lectured on the role of senior public officials.
Gyeonggi Province conducted the ‘Gyeonggi Provincial Government Sexual Harassment, Sexual Violence, and Stalking Survey’ in June, and plans to reflect the results in next year’s workplace sexual harassment prevention measures and violence prevention education.
