Gwangjin-gu Produces '2025 Welfare Calendar' for Vulnerable Groups

Providing Welfare Information Monthly from January to December... Distributed to 500 Vulnerable Seniors Aged 65 and Over
Purpose to Guide National Basic Livelihood Security Project... Includes Various Support Programs from Gwangjin-gu
Wall-Mounted for Practicality and Readability... Specially Designed for Seniors' Convenience

Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has produced the ‘2025 Welfare Calendar’ to provide guidance on the National Basic Livelihood Security Program.

This was prepared to widely inform vulnerable groups about the welfare benefits they can receive. The purpose is to help easily check necessary information in everyday spaces such as homes, workplaces, and senior centers.

The calendar includes various contents such as Gwangjin-gu support projects, basic livelihood recipient discounts, and exemption systems. It also contains welfare services tailored to the characteristics of specific groups like seniors, people with disabilities, and youth.

Additionally, contact information for the district office, community service centers, and related organizations is provided for convenience.

The information is inserted at the bottom of the calendar. When flipping through the calendar from January to December, new guidance is revealed each month. It is made in a size of 42cm width and 60cm height to enhance readability, and its wall-hanging form adds practicality. The text is also written in large font so that seniors can easily read it.

The target recipients are basic livelihood recipients aged 65 or older residing in Gwangjin-gu, low-income groups, single-parent families, and people with disabilities. A total of 500 copies will be distributed, and community service centers plan to use them when responding to civil complaints.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We hope to effectively inform various welfare projects so that necessary institutional support can be received in a timely manner,” and added, “We will carefully monitor to reduce information blind spots so that no one misses out on benefits due to lack of knowledge and provide improved welfare services.”
