This report meeting was conducted to present the achievements and research results of the preservation, management, and utilization research project for Yangju Hoeamsaji, as well as to provide a final report on future tasks, followed by a Q&A session and collection of opinions.

The research project, carried out to select the priority list for the world heritage registration of Hoeamsaji, is based on the preservation and management basic data DB completed in 2023. It involves drafting the registration application, setting heritage and buffer zones, establishing preservation measures, formulating preservation and management plans for sustainability, and preparing utilization plans for the heritage.

An official from Yangju City stated, "Through this research, a systematic plan for the preservation, management, and utilization of Hoeamsaji has been completed," and added, "We will continue to devote ourselves to research, preservation and management, promotion, and resident participation activities so that Hoeamsaji, our city's representative cultural heritage, can be registered as a World Heritage site."

Meanwhile, Yangju Hoeamsaji (Historic Site) was recognized for its value as an archaeological heritage that proves the prosperity and spread of Buddhist Seon (Zen) culture popular in 14th-century East Asia, and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in July 2022.
