The city received particularly high marks for increasing the contract rate of local companies and contributing to the growth of the local construction industry.
To expand the participation rate of local construction companies in subcontracting, the city actively revised relevant ordinances and established a close cooperation system with local construction companies, striving to boost the local economy. These efforts are being recognized as having significantly contributed to increasing opportunities for local companies to participate.
Mayor Lee Haksoo said, "We have continuously promoted ordinance revisions and policy support to revitalize the local construction industry," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide practical support to the local economy through organic cooperation with local construction companies."
